What is this Marathon and Why ?

Although the DAG tech that we are using is brilliant on paper and has performed marvelously during our internal testing, DAG-based cryptos(NEC chain) have not yet been tested widely to back up their supposed capabilities, so it is difficult to know for sure how they would behave.

Hence a Marathon...
